Marianne started her career as a secretary at several companies in the north of the country. In 1996 she moved to burgundy 's-Hertogenbosch where Marianne started working at Heijmans and later at SNS REAAL as an executive secretary.

In 2009 she moved to New Zealand where she ran her own business with her husband for 10 years. In 2024, Marianne moved back to the Netherlands.

Since September 2024 Marianne has been working at LXA Lawyers as a management assistant and is part of the Government and Real estate team
