  • Property Development
  • Construction Law
  • Planning & Zoning Law
  • Asbestos

Peter has registered the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

  • Tenancy Law

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calender year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

Peter joined LXA Attorneys in 2013, where he works in the Government and Real Estate practice group. Before joining LXA, he gained his expertise and skills at a reputable international law firm in Rotterdam.

Peter has two complementary fields of expertise. He is an expert in matters of commercial tenancy law and completed his specialist course in this field with honours. In addition to being a lawyer, Peter is also a certified ‘asbestos expert’ (in accordance with SC-570), hence his frequent involvement over the past years in asbestos-related issues. As a result of this unique combination his clients include not only contractors, property developers and property owners, but also insurance companies and institutional investors.

Furthermore, he advises and conduct legal proceedings regarding property development and major renovation projects.

In these fields of expertise it is an advantage that Peter is not a man of theory only. For what he prefers most is to apply his expertise towards practical purposes, without losing sight of his client’s legal interests.
