Tim has registered the following principal legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

  • Administrative Law
  • Construction Law

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calender year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

Tim Segers joined LXA Attorneys in 2013 and is leading the LXA Public and Real Estate department.

In addition to specialising in administrative law in a broad sense, focusing in particular on environmental law and planning and zoning law, Tim has a great deal of experience in construction law and government liability law.

He also has special expertise in the field of the private-law and administrative-law aspects of asbestos, and is a certified asbestos expert. In this role he is frequently appearing as a speaker at conferences and symposiums and often gives presentations and lectures. In addition, he and his staff give various courses in the field of asbestos. Tim is one of the authors of the book 'Asbestos, Supervision and Enforcement'.

Tim publishes regularly, both in newspapers and in specialist journals.
