She completed the secretarial programme at Koning Willem 1 College in 's-Hertogenbosch in 2007, after which she worked at the college as a secretary to the academic advisors in the Student Success Centre. She then worked for six years as a secretary at an agency for technical consultants and project managers.

Laura has worked as a management assistant and insolvency employee at LXA Attorneys since March 2012. Alongside her work as a management assistant and insolvency employee, within LXA Attorneys, Laura is responsible for running the IT department.
